DURING THE DAY
As soon as the first rays of sunshine arrive in Spring (but why not in Winter if you are well covered up) THE TERRACE OF THE PLAZZA is the number one choice of "people watchers" - who enjoy a little glass of something or a tea or a coffee and just watch the world go by. The terrace of the Plazza is a veritable suntrap at lunchtime. There is no traffic and you can hear the birds singing in the trees of the promenade... If it wasn’t so quiet you could be in Paris . There are a few individuals who have stopped for a glass, to read the papers, do some knitting; there are groups in business suits who have no doubt come to seal a contract, mums with pushchairs, romantic couples of course, and groups of tourists, be they friends or families...And that’s not all. LE PLAZZA offers beer lovers three top of the range beers - STELLA ARTOIS, JUPILER and LEFFE - all Belgian and all on draught!!! And the prices! 2,40 € a half for Stella and Jupiler, and 2,90 € for Leffe - unbeatable prices !
The cappuccino at the Plazza is also a customer favourite

IN THE EVENING
Although the sunny days are long at the Plazza most of the year, allowing a warmoutdoor Mediterranean ambiance late into the evening, around the exterior bar where you are served by pretty smiling French girls, often with music groups on the stage in the square, there is another ambiance when the weather turns a bit cooler - inside around the bar people gather for an aperitif, a beer etc. at the counter or sitting on the comfy leather sofas around wooden tables. It’s a refined welcome but always with a touch of « the village ».
And if you get hungry (relaxation makes for an appetite!) the restaurant can serve you all year round at lunchtime, and in the evening in summer....
